Another Major American Fast Food Chain Is Coming to Dublin

Slim Chickens is coming to Dublin — and Dundrum’s about to add another restaurant to their list. The Arkansas-born chain is setting up its first Republic or Ireland spot in the Pembroke District of Dundrum Town Centre, serving up wings, tenders, and sauces that have already made them a hit in over 320 locations worldwide.

They’ve been clucking away up north for a while, but now it’s our turn. Think trays piled high with golden chicken, crispy fries, and that Texas toast that’s basically a cheat day on a plate. It’s the latest American name to land here after Wendy’s, Popeyes, and Taco Bell — clearly the Yanks have realised we’re mad for a bit of grease.

The exact opening date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but once those doors open, Dundrum are about to have more lines than the final level of Snake on a Nokia 3220.
