Chick-Fil-YAY- America's Most Beloved Fast Food Chain has Arrived in Ireland

Exciting news for fast food lovers in Ireland: Chick-fil-A, the beloved American brand known for its delicious chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and lemonade, has officially opened its doors at the Lisburn South Service Station on the M1 motorway. This launch marks the first Chick-fil-A location not only in Ireland but also outside of North America, made possible through a partnership with Applegreen.

On Thursday, 30th January, the Chalk and Cheese Travels team set out to join the excited locals on their opening day to get a taste of what Chick-fil-A has to offer. The buzz was truly electric, with lines that rivalled those you’d expect outside Diceys nightclub on a Monday night.

Chick-fil-A’s reputation is certainly not in any doubt, with the 2022 American Customer Satisfaction Index naming it the best-loved fast food chain in the US for an impressive eighth consecutive year. Now, Irish customers can try out the brand that has captured millions of Americans’ hearts, taste buds (and sometimes guts).
