Looking for somewhere to wet your whistle this weekend without spending the guts of a car repayment? McSorley’s in Ranelagh is bringing it back to the glory days.

To celebrate 20 years in business, they’re rolling prices back to 2005 — when pints were €4, change actually meant coins, and Remix to Ignition was somehow still acceptable background music (don’t worry, that one isn’t making a comeback).

This Saturday and Sunday, they’re serving €4 pints, €4 bottles, and €4 glasses of wine. In Dublin. During the summer. We checked twice — it’s real.

So if you’re gasping and skint (a common combo), head to McSorley’s, where you can raise a glass without raiding your savings.

Fair play to them — two decades of pints, craic and chaos, and they’re still looking after the locals. Go on the lads.
