If you thought Dublin Airport was already a circus, Portugal’s about to add lions, tigers and a few juggling clowns. Menzies Aviation ground staff have confirmed strikes right through to January, hitting Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Madeira and the Azores. That means if you’ve a sun holiday booked, your flight could be anywhere between delayed for an extra pint and cancelled harder than an influencer on livestream.
What should you do? Keep the airline app glued to your hand, pack a sandwich or three, and maybe bring a deck of cards to pass the time in Terminal 1. Look, nothing says “holiday memories” like beating your mates at snap beside a broken vending machine.
