C&CT's representatives, John McGarry and Paul Micheau, were very honoured to attend what was initially meant to be a wonderful cooking demonstration hosted by the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO). Unfortunately, lady luck was not on anyone's side on Friday, January 24th, and perhaps what some may label as the Irish curse: Storm Éowyn made its mark on the Emerald Isle, forcing several venue closures throughout the country, which included the Airfield Estate.

Despite the challenging weather, and to quote the late great Freddie Mercury, "The Show Must Go On," commendably, lemons were turned into lemonade, and a fantastic night of drinks and networking was had in a new location—the NYX Hotel beside Christ Church.

The evening was extremely enjoyable, and the Chalk and Cheese Travels team would like to extend our gratitude to Eleni Skarveli (Director of the GNTO) and the Travel Media team for hosting a very memorable evening despite the challenges faced. We look forward to working together in some capacity in the future.
