Guinness is heading across the water, opening its first-ever U.K. microbrewery this winter in London’s Covent Garden. The new spot, Guinness at Old Brewer’s Yard, will stretch over 50,000 sq ft — roughly the size of that one bloke’s ego who went solo travelling on a “gap year” and came back saying graciasin SuperValu.
Inside, there’ll be a rooftop bar with 360° views of London, a merch store, and a working microbrewery brewing up 14 limited-edition beers — including low and zero-alcohol options. The classic pint of the black stuff will also be on tap.
Food-wise, expect a rooftop seafood restaurant, a brasserie and grill, and even a Guinness-themed food truck. The menu’s set to feature proper pub-style dishes like hearty pies and shareable plates.
They’ll also run guided tours with Guinness experts, giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the brewing process and the brand’s long history.
Not quite Dublin, but close enough for a pint and maybe a dodgy accent.
