The First Taco Bell To Open in Ireland Next Month

Ireland’s first ever Taco Bell is opening next month – and of all places, it’s setting up shop in an Applegreen in Dunshaughlin, Meath.
It’s not pretending to be fancy or authentic – it’s pure fast food. The kind I used to inhale after nights out in the States, when the only decision you had to make was “Do I get the Crunchwrap as well?” (The answer is always yes.) You wander in for one taco, and somehow end up with a tray full of burritos, nachos, and more cheese than is medically advisable.
Sure, a lot of the menu has that “different shape, same taste” vibe – but that’s the charm. It’s cheesy, salty, and impossible to eat neatly, and once you’ve had it, you’ll be plotting your return trip.
Just be warned – it’s greasy, it’s messy… but my god does it hit the spot.
